Ok, I am not hating on any of the App love at all, but your stat is either not qualified or it’s wrong. 17 conference games might be correct. But total games? I remember Penn State, Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee losses and 3 of the 4 were openers, so you had more than a week to prepare. #confused

Of the 22 starters for App State on offense and defense Saturday, only one offensive starter and three defensive starters were seniors.

Not going to crucify you but I couldn't disagree more. Calling Satterfield a horrible X's and O's is not a fact, just your opinion.

I think Satt proved his chops before he ever became head coach. He was the driving force behind going to the spread from the Power I in 2004 and was the play caller during the 2005-2007 FCS title years.

App recruits the same pool of players as the rest of the Sun Belt and have several key players that had no other FBS offers out of high school. Zac Thomas was a Jacksonville State commit and only got a late offer from App after we had a QB decommit.

I get the frustration some fans have with him going conservative to preserve a lead or being stubborn about the run game but Satt is a damn good offensive coach. Yes, App has a very good team but I can't understand the thinking that their talent is so far superior that they went 11-2 and scored 37 points per game in spite of awful in-game coaching.

Having said that, I take nothing away from what the rest of the staff did last night. Under difficult circumstances, they had the boys ready to play and App looked sharp in all three phases. Great performance all around.

I know MUTS is generally associated with App in the realignment boards, but if a big shakeup ever happens I hope we are far away from them. They have little support from their fan base, and them team played like thugs. The more we play CUSA teams the less I want to be associated with most of them.

Those players and likely the entire staff would be gone by the time a theoretical first conference matchup would occur.

Uh...You don't know MTSU that well do you? What you saw on Saturday has been MTSU in a nutshell for the last 12 years. There have been many different players over that time. Lots of different assistants. The only constant is Rick Stockstill

To give you an idea. Our football program gets a fair amount of league complaints for dangerous play on the field. We earn more Unsportsmanlike conduct fouls than the rest of the league by far. Want to know where most of our staff came from? MTSU.

Anytime we can stick it to CUSA I enjoy it. Some very condescending remarks from their schools were directed at us and App. The reality is CUSA is the worst G5 conference no matter what ridiculous claims they make
