I didn't think it would be possible for anybody to make non-Bama fans root for the Tide.

Though to be honest, a part of me kinda wanted to see Hurts turn into Joey from the Bad News Bears, let Georgia win, then go drop the ball at Saban's feet.

Absolutely. Punt, don't fake having 11+ yards to go for a first down at midfield with the score tied that late in the game. Try to pin them deep.
That was an awful call by Kirby Smart, and Alabama was prepared for it.
