That was a dicey PI call to keep the UCF drive going.
Maybe an AAC admin saw the Access bid slipping and made a call at halftime? LOL.
Dicey? It was obvious and while the Qb was in the pocket still. Not to mention the no call chop block.

Play a strong P5 team even if it’s a one and done.

We did last year. Their name was Auburn.
We did this year. Their name was Pittsburgh.
We will again this year. Their name doesn't matter because we will win that game, too.

1). UCF is 12-0, because only this year matters.
2). You are bragging about beating a 5 loss team as your best/biggest win?
3). Do you honestly believe UCF’s resume compares to Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Ohio St (if they win tonight)?

ucf. Not a P5 team. Not going to be a P5 team. Their game doesn't matter at all. Not sad, but true.

Alabama is undefeated and a conference champion.
Clemson is undefeated and a conference champion.
Notre Dame is undefeated with a diverse schedule.
Those three are locks.
Georgia lost their conference title game and have two losses.
Ohio State lost to a 6-6 team by multiple touchdowns.
Oklahoma is the only team necessary to compare UCF to, and their defense is terrible.

UCF just gave up 41 points and almost 600 yards to an 8-5 Memphis team and their defense is ... ?
Why on earth should Georgia be knocked out of the playoffs when they had to play Alabama while UCF played Memphis?
CCG Saturday showed why UCF doesn't belong. Major teams like Alabama, Georgia, and Oklahoma had to face real tests. UCF played Memphis?
Come on.
MC still has UCF at #8. That's a fair ranking.

Actually, I think Pitt is a six loss team.

Talking football, Kansas is a low-level Sun Belt team. UCF would beat the ever-living piss out of KU. And, yes, I'm a KU fan. UCF would be a top-3 Big XII team.

To be fair, UCF did beat some teams as good or better than the team that beat OSU.
Can't really say that about Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, Georgia or Oklahoma, though.

UCF would be 10-2 or 11-1 playing Notre Dame's schedule. Who did they play other than Michigan that might be better than UCF this year?
