The first two links you posted were just rehashed versions of the article you originally posted. They even used the exact same old photograph of Littrell when he was at North Carolina. So, it's kind of a red flag that they might not be doing quality research.

The Link to the Kansas State board has a story that doesn't say anything about a buy out. As far as I can tell, you found one obscure article being reported by a few small papers in Kansas.

I was listening to our basketball game tonight, and the announcer said he stopped by bowl practice today. Littrell told him, he just couldn't leave. He felt like he still had work to do at North Texas. He's not finished building the Mean Green into what he thinks it can be. If this buyout angle has any legs it will be reported by bigger respected sports media.

Relax dude I don't care. I'm just posting what I've been reading, there's also reports they never offered him the job before he removed his name. I can continue to post links if it want me to but I really don't feel like it or care that much at all. I'm sure some people are speculating or just trying to make excuses. So I always take articles with a grain of salt.
