I found out that Alabama's out of state non conference contracts read the same way. Not a problem.

A win would be nice but I want MTSU.

Yep. When I worked at UAB and we bought stuff that required a contract (like signing a computer license agreement) it was worded the same way. I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy but it definitely isn't the case of the Board stealing the $1.6m like I think people might imply.

Stealing? No.

Well yeah they control it, they are the governing board. They approve the budget. It's not a shady scam, it's how it works.

The fact that a top tier P5 school can pay about $1.5 million for a list of G5 "sacrificial lambs" every year indicates the enormous wealth their athletic programs generate every year. These games virtually guarantee that about 25% of the season's games are "Ws" counting toward that school's bowl eligibility.

And that they have 8 home games instead of just 6.

i think that if you lost to MTSU and FIU win ,,the game will be in BHM anyway
technically our next 2 games mean nothing :)

In regards to playing in Birmingham maybe but for national cred we have a real outside shot at a new years day bowl game should we find a way to win out (& a few more things happen)
