You were 2-10 with an FCS loss last season. Of all people, you should know that you can't look at the previous season as an indicator of the current season. Combined between our offense and defense we graduated at least half of our starters I believe last year. This is a completely different team. Bad comparison. Okay fine, I'll give you Arkansas State. We won't call it a struggle game for your defense but we didn't struggle with them either so its irrelevant in the head to head comparison to Apps defense. You said we have struggled against the same teams. Penn State and Georgia Southern are not Clemson and ULM last time I checked. I think you are overthinking what taking care of business means. Taking care of business means doing your job and if our job isn't to win, why are we playing the games? Nobody said taking care of business would be easy but if we can do it, we win the conference again. Destiny is in our hands at this point plain and simple.

I do not believe Georgia Southern can win the East if I read the tiebreakers correct

The only way they can even tie for the division involves Troy losing to Texas State and App, and App losing to GSU. At that point we'd have a 3 way tie, and the tiebreak would be the record against the Eastern Division. For such a tie to happen, App would have to have 2 losses to East Division teams, while Troy/GS would have 1 loss. That would switch it to a head to head between those two, which goes to Troy.

Georgia State is the SBC futbol champion

Championship game will be in Boone. APP will be a double digit home favorite against Troy.
