Yeah, I saw that. He got away with it the first time. On a side note, looks like Capel has Pitt headed in the right direction. Positive turn around from where they were last season.

He did that in our game with them. A certain point you need to hold the coach responsible. Or maybe not. Maybe it's just society's fault.

Everybody other than Duke fans may be tired of hearing about Zion Williamson but if you’re not you may find this piece to be very interesting. I don’t remember reading a piece like this about any college player. He’s unique. You have to see him in person to fully appreciate his talents.

Louisville:
-Outshot FSU by 10% from field‬
‪-Outshot FSU by 13% from deep‬
‪-Outshot FSU by 6% at line‬
‪-Out-rebounded FSU‬
‪-FSU didn’t lead the final 24:53 of regulation ‬

‪And yet FSU gets the W in OT because Louisville committed their most turnovers in a game since 2012, throwing it away 23 times. FSU forced plenty but many times UofL simply threw it away uncontested.

It's ok, FSU needed the win more than Louisville.

Cards sez "hold my beer."
Louisville could not hit anything last night. I expect they'll bounce back though with a huge game.

GT nearly lost 10 in a row in the middle of the conference slate and is the #10 seed? *looks back at 11-15 in disbelief*

All games on Tuesday are total garbage. No winning records between the six teams playing. None with a realistic shot at winning on Wednesday.

RE: Open Thread - 2018 Basketball
All ACC picks (1st/2nd/3rd team) since conference expanded to 15 teams:
Duke 14
UVA 14
UNC 12
Cuse 7
ND 7
Clem 5
NCSU 5
UL 5
Miami 4
BC 4
GT 4
Pitt 3
VT 3
Wake 1
FSU 1

Conference win pct over same span (since 2013-14):
UVA .824
UNC .731
Duke .713
UL .611
Cuse .556
FSU .546
Miami .519
Clem .500
ND .500
NCSU .444
VT .426
GT .343
Pitt .324
Wake .278
BC .204

Leonard Hamilton must be one hell of a coach, since the ACC doesn't think they have any talent.

ACC Coach of the Year
Tony Bennett, Virginia, 30 (1st place)
Buzz Williams, Virginia Tech, 12 (5th place)
Roy Williams, North Carolina, 11 (2nd place)
Leonard Hamilton, Florida State, 10 (4th place)
Chris Mack, Louisville, (7th place)

He's not that good of a coach either, apparently. They shot the moon between no talent and no coaching to a double bye.

Yep, pretty crazy. Can't have it both ways you'd think, but ACC.

Is FSU turning into a basketball school?

POLL: Will FSU ever become a basketball-first school?

Let's have the double down double experiment. Geoff Collins replaces Josh Pastner while keeping his current role. Leonard Hamilton replaces Willie Taggart while keeping his current role.

04-deal
