What stage? Duquesne sucks

Well, the good news is that the nonconference games are meaningless. So now is the time to experiment and figure out who should get starters minutes, who will be valuable bench players, and who should play minimal/no minutes

That one hand throw down off the inbound pass is a definite highlight reel shot for Chase.

This is not last year's Duquesne team.

I have a feeling that Audige and Owens are going to be players who absolutely can't stand to lose, and will push others hard.

Why do they suck? It's their 1st game. They took it to us today. I think Duquesne might have a pretty good year in the down A10.

Preseason picked 11 out of 14 in A-10...is that good?

They have their best players back from last season, a few transfers, and a good recruiting class. That said, I expected to beat them.

I have faith in Shaver that the offense will be fine. There's zero evidence from his time at W&M to think the defense will be fine. He's got the non-conference portion of the schedule to sort all this out.

Duquesne will not finish 11th in the A-10. They were picked there based on last year's talent, not what we saw tonight.

So maybe Loewe and Williams were non-factors last year for reasons other than Cohn and Burchfield playing really well.

Rocco, I think you are correct. My guess is that Tony is giving both a chance since they are returning players. Audige, Owens, and Scott are much more talented and that's not just conjecture.
