Eva is a stud, and the transfer from Stetson has crazy handles. It will be interesting next year without Boggs, but we still have a lot of talent on the roster and don't lose a lot of minutes. Swanson has a very good program that is moving up

Atrocious! 27 turnovers. Had a 12-16 point lead in the first half but led by only 1 at halftime. Had a 12 point lead with only 6 minutes to go but couldn't hang on. 27 turnovers. Shot over 64% for the game but seemingly didn't take a shot from the field in the last 5 minutes. 27 turnovers. Kept trying to drive to the hoop and keep losing it. Tried passing to people who were not expecting the pass or who couldn't handle it. 27 turnovers. Boggs and Reynolds were the turnover tandem in the last 5 minutes. 27 turnovers. NE shot 15-20 more free throws in our own building. 27 turnovers.

Northeastern wanted it more.

Tribe shot 100% from the charity stripe.

NU shot 67% but somehow managed to win.

100% = 7-7
67% = 16-24

That is a difference of 17 FTs. Figure it out, Tribal.

They called W&M for 21 fouls. They called NE for only 9. 2 of those 9 were in the last 20 seconds when NE had fouls to give and were intentionally going for steals and disrupting play, knowing that fouls still would not put W&M on the line. Figure it out, Tribal.

Oh, and your comments might actually carry more weight if you actually watched the game -- but if you had actually watched the game you wouldn't have made the comment. Your jinx is still on for the CAAT.

So did we lose because we turned the ball over 27 times per your original tantrum or because of the slanted free throw attempts? You're all over the place.

I fully accept my direct impact, or jinx, on our team's performance in the CAAT. It fits snuggly with my narcissistic personality disorder.

Not all over the place at all. Both the excessive turnovers (about twice as many as usual) and the one-sided free throws can be traced back to the same cause: officiating. The effect of the officiating on free throws is obvious. However, a game in which the refs were calling absolutely nothing on NE (only 1 foul called in the second half until 2 more were called in the last half minute) emboldened NE to play super, ultra aggressive defense and get in the Tribe's face all game. Such play would lead to many more turnovers than usual (check) and a high number of steals for NE (check).

I probably should have led with the officiating angle in my first post but Rocco has me cowed about complaining about officiating with his tinfoil picture and comments.

Now, as to WHY the officials would call the game that way, that class (Conspiracy Theory 101) will have to wait for another day --- since I am leaving for Charleston now.

How did that happen? I thought it was our home game. Maybe the refs traveled from northeast region. Just my guess.

Yes, congrats to Eva -- definitely deserved the ROY award!

Congrats also to Bianca Boggs for earning CAA First Team and also the CAA All-Defensive team!

Tribe just lost to Drexel 71-60 in the CAAT quarterfinals. The first half looked like deja vu to the men's Delaware game with the way that Drexel was sinking so many shots from long, LONG range.

Considering that Ed Swanson has been markedly less successful than Tony Shaver, and that Rowe apparently said that men's and women's basketball were so important to the College, I have to wonder if Swanson is next on the chopping block.

I really have no problem with Swanson being released. I have seen several.of his games and was. Not impressed.

If Tony had a buyout clause, I'm sure Ed has it. We cannot take both hit$$$.
