College Gameday went to James Madison last year when they played Villanova and it wasn't even on an ESPN network. It was on regional sports network MASN.

ESPN is the one wanting to legitimize ESPN+ and gain subscribers so badly. Seems like they would want to showcase it at least once a season.

A longshot, but not impossible. I mean, they've gone to NDSU, JMU, and a MEAC game in the past.

Gameday goes to one FCS game a year. They always do, its their way to try to drum up interest in the FCS Playoffs, which they have the rights for.

They don't go to G5 schools outside of maybe an AAC. We're not worth their trouble. I doubt Lee Corso could find Statesboro on a map.

Oddly enough if this would happen to be true this would actually be Troy second game day football game.
