LOL. I think that's basically the point Eigen is trying to make (which I disagree with). What's the point of picking out those three? I understand they're the "money" sports, but isn't the purpose of the Bubbas Cup to include ALL collegiate sports throughout the conference? Give credit where credit is due.

I care about every sport...just some more than others. And based on how our schools spend money, that's the case for them as well.

Wait until we get it figured out. Only Little Rock sponsors less sports than we do, yet we’ve finished second three times in five years.

Women’s basketball “makes” more money than many baseball programs. Some softball programs “make” more money than some basketball programs. This is an arbitrary list so you can feel better at your school. If that is indeed the attitude at your fine institution, that these other sports don’t matter, no wonder you guys are always so low in the Bubas Cup.

Well. Looking at the "unity points" or whatever on McLean's spreadsheet looks like we still got you in points per sponsored sport this year too.

I think the best stat is on the page by season where one column compares points earned to points possible. That may be better than the unity points now that I started that. Either way TxSt dominated this year.

One year in the SoCon it went down to the last inning of the last baseball game. Depending on the winner of that one game would change the standings enough in baseball to change the order of the cup winner. THAT was not the case this year for the Bubas.
