That reason is home ooc scheduling.
For 35 years?
I'm sure App never plays soft OOC teams at home.
Nope, never.

You were already wrong once. I guess tomorrow is where you're wrong again. Crystal ball appears to be broken.

I believe I posted it to encourage people who felt like you. Turns out...they never fully recovered. Civility will only return when the candy is given to the screaming child. Until then, shoes, toys, tools, plates, and clothes will be thrown, feet will be stomped, heads will be hit against doors, and the entire tantrum shall continue.

It's sort of fun. President throws a tantrum and bashes his opponents, who in turn throw a tantrum and bash him back
We either all lose, or just get comedic enjoyment out of it. One of the two.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease...even if the importance of that wheel to the overall system is just a spare tire under the bed of the truck that's probably dry rotted and needs to be replaced. Overall, it's all a **** show perpetrated by both sides.
Wasn't a Graham fan until his "unhinged" side came out. Someone who genuinely works for his constituents and is principled in his actions. If he ever reacted that way, I'd think people watching know that something isn't right.

Trump lost me when he started pretending he cared about people only when it benefitted him politically to do so. Democrats lost me when they continue to venture left despite the fact that the opposite side is pulling more right.
No different than the rest of them.
I get to protest vote again though this year. That's always fun. I used the opportunity during midterms to convince a diehard Trump supporter that I was thoroughly convinced he was an Alien hell bent on enslaving our minds to build resorts in his name.
I think this year I may pretend I'm a Socialist...see what happens.

I checked "Other" and "Unaffiliated" on my voter registration. The lady doing the registration didn't ask any questions despite my obvious "bi-racial" Italian/English/Dutch mixture.
Regardless, I'd vote Libertarian if it mattered, but for the time being it doesn't. If I voted for Democrats and their policy proposals went through, I'd be paying about $5,000 to $10,000 more a year that I don't have to give in Taxes and potential pay cuts and opportunity cost for future job growth.
My company actually has a hiring freeze until January. My personal thought is that it's due to restructuring because of acquisitions but my gut tells me it also has something to do with potential corporate tax increase should the Left win. Either way, this is a sports board so we should probably get back to that.

It's supposed to be a sports board, but there's not exactly any "predicting" on this thread, so I thought we could just take it thoroughly off the rails for funsies...

Regarding "selection" of homecoming opponent, this year GSU has one home game in the month of October. By default the opponent is Coastal. Last year we had only one home Saturday game in October. It was Troy. Homecoming opponents are de facto set by the conference schedulers.

We used out October game ULM for parents weekend
So next weekend first week of November is homecoming-Ap St

I'm assuming that they chose App State to try to get a good crowd? I'd be interested to see how many App fans will be traveling to the beach. Myrtle Beach is only about 3 hours or a little less if I don't stop from Greensboro. Opening up 73 really helped.
