RE: WAC Fall Meetings 2018
I wish they shared what they discussed in these meetings like they did 3-4 years ago. It’s nice to know what’s going on within the conference (if anything).

At least put out a statement of some sort.

Hurd use to give a state of the WAC address at Basketball media day, now called WAC basketball preview (as there are little to no reporters who attend). He stopped giving the address three years ago.

I would've thought with CBU joining he would've said something this year. Hurd has also gone pretty quiet on twitter.

Yah....ANYTHING as far a statement would be appreciated.

Sitting on a toilet somewhere and interacting with you.

I would really like to sit in on these meetings once. Just to gage the feeling in the room. Watch the AD's greet each other, sit down and talk. Do they actually get along? Is there a growing sense of cohesion? Are they actually going to try this for the long run? Lots of things can be gleaned from body language, and watching who talks to whom.

These are great thoughts and something I often wonder about. Do they have confidence in the commissioner? Who are the strong Presidents and AD's in the conference who have pull? As a GCU Alum I also wonder did anything "really" change regarding the WAC contingent perceptions of GCU now that they have gone Nonprofit.

We should develop a WAC Alumni Committee and demand that we be represented in these meetings to further the Conference agenda! ha ha

I'd love to attend basketball media day for all the same reasons, but for the coaches instead of ADs. See who is cool with who, and who can't stand who.
