Not a great performance by App but sandwiched in between two big road games and a rivalry match-up just five days away, it had trap game written all over it. Great running by Evans in the first full game without Jalin Moore and ultimately, they got the job done with a win over an improving Louisiana team.

Thursday night will tell us a lot about this team.

You beat Texas State 15-13. Louisiana had a better game against NMSU than you did and I'm still unimpressed by your offense. Had stAte kicked field goals and played field position they likely wouldve won against you all.

Alas, you have 2 points in the Coaches Poll. Their opinion matters more than mine.

Have people forgotten that we went on the road and beat Louisiana at their place?

The rest of us because it's nuts this year.
