We played The Citadel in 2015. Most weren't particularly fond of it, but we beat them 48-13... so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal.

Thought there may be some allure to playing an old Conference Rival, even if they are overmatched. You all, and App, had some big games with Furman. If the interest for these games was high, it would be cool to see either/both only schedule the FCS teams from the SoCon. Can't say that I saw much benefit in App playing Gardner-Webb.

Also, what would it take for App and Southern to actually get this game moved to a Saturday? Surely this would be more intriguing for an ESPN 2 slot on a Saturday than many other games that are played.

Only reason i don't like playing Elon again is one of their idiot fans came on here talking about how we should schedule a home and home with them like we were still on the same level after moving to the belt, yes i hold grudges.

Anyone that thinks that is clearly delusional. I like having Elon come Boone. More so than GWU or Morgan St. Elon will bring a good amount of fans up the mountain.
