RE: 2018 football coaching changes
I think the follow coaches may be fired by Monday

Clay Helton - USC (a win v ND saves his job)
Chris Ash - Rutgers
Randy Edsall - UCONN
Lovie Smith - IL
Larry Fedora - UNC
Scottie Montgomery - ECU
Matt Luke - Ole Miss

Justin Fuente may be out next week if VA Tech misses a bowl game.

Any other CUSA coaches likely to be shown the door next week, WKU, ODU, Rice, UTEP? Holliday has two years remaining on his contract, I hope Marshall decides to part ways at that point. Winning games and getting bowl bids is nice, but winning conference championships and having a shot at New Year's Six bowl should be every CUSA team's goal, I don't see DOC ever delivering that kind of season.

Rice will not be firing Bloomgren after year one.

The .00001% chance he got fired became .000000001% after beating ODU today.

Lambert goes out on a winning note beating FAU. Charlotte finishes with the same record as FAU. Does Kiffin's seat get a lot hotter?

No. I believe Kiffin punches his own ticket at FAU

UConn and UConn fans have put all the blame on Bob Diaco on what is still going on. I think they give Edsall 3 or maybe even 4 years to turn things around.

Ive also heard that ECU does not have the money to buyout "Beam me up Scottie". He still has 2 years on a 5 year contract at 1.2 million per year.

Looks like Texas Tech fires Kingsbury. This is going to get ugly before it's over.

UCONN set records for worst defense this ever in college football hard to imagine any head coach surviving that. ECU is in worse shape than we are, their coach is dragging the team down, at least we are anchored in mediocrity with DOC, that said I don't see either coach departing until 2020 season is over.

Good. I dont want to compete with ecu for a coach. With satterfield a possible option for unc I definitely dintvwant to compete with both app and ecu for a coach.
