Actually a good mix of guys who have played meaningful minutes...and a lot of them is some cases. The key will be the DL. Marino will be the anchor, but we need to build around him. Need to replace significant pass rushers...

I dont see a Keely or Garcia Williams type (tall, fast, hostile, agile) on the roster for 2019 yet. So Im curious from where the pass rush comes next year. Moultrie, Fairbanks and Wright are bigger bodies and may emerge, but havent seen much playing time this year. Fish is very active in the two games he has played. Really like what Ive seen from him. He may give some push up the middle but he is not a tall guy like Rush or Thagard.

How many spots do we have left in the 2019 class?

Unlike the last time we had a mass senior exodus the cupboard isn't bare this time.

Not sure how many we can sign this year. It will be a max sized class with 35 seniors graduating this year. Most of our present public commits are defensive players and most are high school. Some very impressive defensive propsects. I suspect there is a crew of Jucos who have not yet made public their UAB commitments. We need WRs and guards/tackles who can compete for starting roles with our kids who have been in the program 2 or 3 years but havent seen the field much years . If there is one area where Clarks recruiting team has struggled a bit to land higher talent levels it might be Oline.

According to an interview I heard... Sounds like the commits for 2019 are all done. We just don't know who they are. They have turned their focus to 2020 and beyond.

Heard the same, just trying to give a number off of solid public verbal commits since we know 14/25 if we even sign a full 25.
