UMass is similar to NM State in my mind. Good offense, questionable defense, and it’s a road game.
It's really, especially in college and high school, to beat a team twice in the same season. While I wasn't expecting the shootout with NMSU, I didn't think we'd beat them twice. The next game, we're at home, we've got the sting of the last loss, and no altitude worries either. I think we blow them out.

I'm a little worried about UMASS, but not that much. I think 7-5 is a high possibility and 6-6 a high probability. It'd be nice to knock off UVA or Auburn, but highly unlikely. Our defense and special teams are way to weak and inconsistent for them not to exploit.

I think UVA will be more difficult than Auburn.

UVA should be 7-2 going into that game and a top 25 team.

For prospective UC Davis beat Idaho State in ot and they are ranked 8th in the FCS. Meaning we probably would have been roughly top 10 this year. Idaho State’s other losses are FBS and they are currently ranked 25th in the FCS.
