We only need 3 wins to get eligible. If we can’t pull that off with games against Louisiana, ULM, Texas St, Georgia St, South Alabama, and Coastal Carolina on the schedule, then it’s really time to pack it in.

I am not 100 percent positive. But the West is God awful, and Georgia State has zero pass defense. If we don't win all 6 of our remaining regular season games, than Blake needs to be fired on the spot.

They are certainly the toughest game left on the schedule, but we should still have a significant talent and depth edge in that one.

No offense to Coastal, but if we lose to those guys, it would be a loss of UCA Proportions. It would probably destroy any last remaining chance Blake Anderson has of keeping any sort of relationship with the fan base.

Last night’s offensive performance by stAte is just about what I expected. Georgia Southern plecked away App’s co-DC from last year and we’ve been playing very similar schemes this year. The basic idea is to force teams to put together 15-18 plays if they want a TD. Keep everything in front and don’t miss tackles in the open field. Most teams on this side of the top25 either can’t string together that many plays without messing up or they get greedy and go for bigger plays, which usually leads to interceptions and pass deflections.

The West is BAD this year. At least it gives us all hope we can still win it and control our own destiny. ULM has the talent to turn it around, but unfortunately I don’t see it happening. Crazy stat is ULM leads the SBC with the most 1st downs and most red zone trips. Wacky part is we are last in scoring I believe with basically same offense as last year.

Agree about the West, even after last night, Ark St is almost a lock for the championship game, which, ironically, is probably going to save Anderson’s job, not what Wolves fans want to see. As far as the game, both defenses played great, thought the offensive play calling on both sides was questionable, APP was way too conservative in the first half, and Ark St, well, that turnover at the end of the first half says it all. Finally, stadium looked great, haven’t watched a game there in a couple of yrs, and I was really impressed, that’s not a typical G5 stadium,it’s starting to look like a P5 facility, hopefully we can catch up some day.

I don't see stAte as a lock for anything at this point. I've said it before, teams run in cycles. We are trending down to a middle of the pack team in this conference. If the west is really that bad we might be in a championship game but in the grand scheme of the overall conference we are going to be doing good to be considered middle of the pack this year. Just a fact.

You’re one of the best posters I’ve seen on any fan forum, but this is easily the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen you post.

Losing on the road to a 3-2 FBS team (no idea what our record will be when we play you guys) that has a legitimate shot at bowl eligibility is as bad as losing at home to your in state FCS?

I’m going to chalk this up to you posting something out of anger and now that you’ve had time to think about it, you know how insane it is.

I think he is thinking about how long ago y'all we're FCS and how our fan base would view that. Personally I am not counting anyone as a win.

I suggest you not get too cocky about the wins. State is capable of losing to any of these teams with TxSt maybe an exception. Think we will lose at least two, maybe more.

Strongly agree with you. We are in more trouble than most fans think and heading to the lower half of our conference. We will lose more games this season and feel we have no better than a 50-50 chance to be in the CCG. And really do not deserve to be there.
