If you come into Paulson ranked on a Thursday night there is zero chance of you leaving with a win. I would say the same if the opposite were true, it's the reason this rivalry is what it is, we both have a tendency to knock each other off their high horse.

Just a point of reference, we moved up 3 spots from 32 to 29 on a bye week. Also gained several AP votes in that same by week.

Arkansas State beat a ranked Troy team 35-3. Of course most people knew that after playing App, Troy would likely not be able to sustain the physicality required to play back to back games against both Arkansas State and App State to win both.
