One thing that GS fans have learned this season is that GS seems to be a slow starter on offense. Every game so far this season we seem to feel out the other team's D for a quarter before we get going.

Our new defensive coordinator has completely derailed our “pretty good” defense from last year. Mostly the same players, but double the number of points given up.

Sounds like we switched. Same players, but went from undisciplined and giving up huge plays to forcing turnovers and keeping play in front of us

To be fair, they moved Brinson around. He didn’t exclusively cover Jamarius Way.

You guys had great coverage on Way, but the return of Malik Stanley also played a role in the decreased targets of Way. Stanley was a monster towards the end of last season, but Saturday was his first game this season.

That's a shame. I was expecting big things from the new staff. I think you'll get rolling offensively, but from my experience, bad defense takes a lot longer to fix.
