It has been 10 years for stAte, pathetically . . . desperately need to get that monkey off our back by beating Tulsa. The TAMU win at College Station was our first game as the Red Wolves.

Sadly,

Though to be fair those games have been Power 5s, WMU's Access Bowl team (the only FBS team Tyson Summers topped 30 points on), and Navy.

In stAte's defense, we probably never played anyone as crappy as 2018 Charlotte.

Final Massey Composite in parentheses . . .

2008 Memphis(87), 2010 Indiana(85), 2010 Navy(44), 2011 Illinois(59), 2013 Memphis(102), 2015 Toledo(28), 2016 Utah State(101), 2017 SMU(66) were the easiest games.

Utah St was really the only complete choke job.

Close calls were 21-24 loss at top 15 Iowa and 34-36 loss @ Indiana. stAte did beat UCF in their hometown in an off-campus bowl game. Nobody has beaten them since . . .

Lol! I was actually about to say that it hasn't happened in the FBS era for us, but I didn't even think about yesterday.

I feel dirty about counting that one considering the circumstances.

I'm sure he means OOC road FBS game.

Which for us has not happened yet. All of our road FBS wins are against conference foes and all of our OOC FBS wins have come at home.

We have a decent shot to get a road OOC victory this year against UMass though.

If Bowl games count, it was 2015.

Sept. 3rd 2016 @ Mississippi State

We then decided our season was complete and lost back to back games to GS and ULL and barely escaped Nichols in OT before remembering how to play football for a game when we curbstomped San Diego State at home 42-24. We are such a weird team......

In addition to Charlotte this year, since joining the FBS in 2014, App had Akron in 2016, ODU in 2015. Not sure if bowl games count.

Bowl games are neutral fields/split tickets. Not true road games. stAte has actually won some of those . . .

Id count the UCF game as a road win. Heck, UCF even effectively scheduled you guys in that game.

It sucks but winning so many titles definitely balanced it out or we wouldn't receive top 25 votes. Not many dogs in that group either. SMU last year and USU a few years ago were not good G5 teams. Looks like we need to get some CUSA teams on the schedule.

For Georgia State, Charlotte (2017) and Ball State (2015) are the last two, although nothing to write home about.

App has also beaten Wyoming and Toledo (twice) and Ohio if Bowls count!!

Since moving up, I think that App is 7-7 against non conference FBS opponents. Not too shabby! 04-cheers
