I would love to know what most of you do for a living necause it seems like the collective iq is extremely low.

A troll??? A fan for over 40 years who has attended 100+ UC football games and who knows how many basketball games.

Love people attacking me. I buy six tickets to basically give away to others. UC calls a couple days before the game threatening to void tickets they already sent me for an error that they admitted they made. Bohn complains about attendance but his staff wants to retro bill me?

I guess that's why I am me, and the rest of you are you.

Never in my professional career have I conducted business in such a manner.

P.s. thanks bearcatmark. I won $20 bucks from a fellow uc troll because i said you would be the first person to respond to my post. Yet, i am a troll. Thanks!

For someone who is super-fan #1 and has spent large sums of cash on UC, little odd that $25 was your breaking point. Do you need me to cover the cost for you?

I just had a hiccup with the ticket office this week with regards to my UCATS payment that never was recognized or loaded into their system when they merged UCATS and tickets into one system. The UCATS office simply would not pick up the phone, and the ticket customer rep was nice enough and apologized that he could be of zero assistance. Very UC experience. I know the ticket office has lost away game tickets for friends of mine going as far back as the Oklahoma game. And those crazy Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl hiccups. But honestly, they have overall not been too bad considering the standard expectations in Clifton. And yes, Ash was awesome going the extra mile.

But Athletic Marketing is infinitely worse. Linder Business School should be embarrassed with what is offered up for marketing. CliftonAve and I have discussed this problem for over 10 years. Way too many issues and not enough time to type. lol

I second Rags comments on UC marketing. They miss too many opportunities to promote. Even little things that would not cost them money they whiff on.

Well, someone gets it. I get a call at work a few days before the game. First thing she says is if I don't pay $25, she will to void the season tickets I already am in possession of. I thought it was someone pranking me. Unfortunately, she caught me where I was going to tolerate the UC Way of doing business any more.

Sorry, I combined Marketing/Ticket Office. In my opinion, they are one in the same.

This has nothing to do with money, it's continued poor business. When you have 1,000s of seats available against a horrible opponent, you don't hustle someone for your mistake. Now they have six more empty seats. Oh well. Again, that's why I am me, and you are you.

For all those people concerned about setting up a GOFUNDME account. I appreciate it, but definitely don't need it.

A couple weeks ago, between games in a soccer tournament in Columbus, I took my daughter to see HAMILTON (Google it) in Cleveland and sat in $435 seats 18 rows from the stage. I looked for doss, but since I never met him or saw anyone else in UC gear, I guess he wasn't there. You missed a good show, brother.

RE: Is UC Marketing/Ticket Office the worst?
I ordered parking with my football tickets, but was never charged as the amount of passes was not entered (you'd think one pass for the year would be it). I called when I received my football tickets and paid for ONE pass and was told it would be mailed. Since then I've called twice about my parking passes which were never mailed. Today they said I could pick them up at will call. I asked about the logic of picking them up at will call after parking and they said that was the only option. I asked if they could refund that days parking as I didn't want to park, go to will call pick up my passes and then go park again. They said they couldn't do that. That's ridiculous. I think if I'd rather deal with agents in Pakistan, as my expectations would be very low. Finally, I just cancelled the parking passes. This reminds me of trying to order chairbacks for my seats a few years back. What a goatrope that turned out to be.

RE: Is UC Marketing/Ticket Office the worst?
Yesterday, I wanted to get mobile tickets instead of tearing out my tickets from the UC season ticketholder booklet. Emailed the ticket office email address with the request. They got back to me with the mobile pdf tickets within an hour. I was pretty impressed. Then they followed up separately to make sure I got them.

RE: Is UC Marketing/Ticket Office the worst?
I've had a handful of issues with the Ticket Office in the past. My account has been a mess for about 8 years now. They have 2 accounts set up for me somehow. Some years when I send my money in, it goes to the wrong account. I know the routine now when that happens.

I figure it is what is it is and deal with it. The tickets aren't that expensive, so I figure you get what you pay for. I also understand the OP's frustrations.

I had the same problem. I called them and they merged my accounts into one. Might want to try and do the same.

I do every year, and I am told it's been done every year. It's not the end of the world. I appreciate you giving me the info though.

They are not very good. Using UPS not FEDEX to send tickets says amateur. UPS left this years tickets outside the house gate and the sprinkler system made them wet. They are crinkled but work.

FEDEX always brings them through the gate to the house and leaves them on the small table on the porch.

A large table wouldn't fit between the couch and TV.
