No. Some teams in this conference are taking care of their business, just not Southern Miss, WKU, and UAB. Hopefully, you three will get back on track and not become part of this conference's bottom.

Most schools in this conference have experienced coaches.

I walked out of Floyd Stadium last night thinking MT is a 4-8 team if I ever saw one, then I seen some of the disastrous results from our conference brethren. Wow. It's crap like this that keeps Rick Stockstill winning just enough to satisfy our administration, if no one else in Murfreesboro. Another mediocre 6-6 or 7-5 season and a bowl appearance for the Raiders appears to be our destiny and it's going to be more due to the bad teams we face in conference than any level of talent or coaching competence from the Blue Raiders.

Yeah. I guess if there's one good thing about only winning 2 games this year (possibly just 1) hopefully that means we finally get an FBS level coach with the new stadium.

The level of suck of USM at the moment, and the level is very high, does not define the conference.

I think this is the conference that is about to be taken over by UNT, FAU and FIU, with Marshall the only representative of the old guard. In fact, I have to guess, UNT has got to be tops, right this minute.

I’m pretty sure opening crowd last night was one of the worst we’ve ever had in FBS. Things are just getting worse and worse. I’m not even sure if we’ll have an offense next year without Brent. Defense seems worse than this year than it did last year.

Isn’t that what people were saying 2-3 years ago about WKU? The only way you sustain good FB is to have an average coach, not too good and not too bad. If too good, he moves on o something better.
