**Was noticing the 10yr patch on the unis in tonights pre-season contest vs teh Skins.

WOW..NC has had the Panthers for 10 years now....


My memories...

1) First person at the Foot Locker over at Carolina East Mall in line to get the first sweatshirt off the presses once the announcement was made that we got the team. I still have it in my closet and ..it still fits

2) The big to do over drafting Kerry Collins

3) Seeing the Panthers stadium for the first time (all be it the contest between NCSU and ECU when we spanked them!!!)

4) Dom Capers using the Free Agent route to build us into a legitmate team in only a couple of years. He was a good caoch--I think injuries to key players cut his tenure short.

5) Getting the the NFC Championship game vs. Green Bay in year 2 --and also if you remeber Jacksonville (who came in the same year we did) played NE in the AFC championship game that same year ..too bad both of us lost and we could have had a bowl game between the 2 expansion teams!!

6) First tv game was the game vs. Jax in the Hall OF Fame Bowl!!!

7) That real small guy we had Tyrone Pool I belive!!!

THe awesome Super Bowl from earlier this year..even though we lsot it.

9)THe whol Ray Caruth and the other guys legal troubles

10) George Seifert replacing Capers

11) John Fox replacing Seifert.

12) Drafting Chris Wienkie as qb out of FSU

13) Peppers sacking everything is sight.


WOW....and probabbly a lot more to come.

And also a congrats to teh Panthers for beating the Skins tonight in pre-season play!!!
