Villanova Beats Temple
Congrats, Villanova! Big win for you guys, on Temple's home field no less. Nova can now claim to be the top program in basketball AND football in Philadelphia.

Great publicity for one of our own today.

May as well throw baseball in there too, since Temple doesn't have a team.

Looking things over, I think the Big East actually went undefeated in football this weekend, with Butler beating Youngstown State and Georgetown over Marist (yes, I know, this is silly).

Georgetown plays football in the Patriot League, Nova plays football in the CAA, and Butler plays football in the Pioneer League. Technically these are wins for those respective leagues not for the BE. 04-jawdrop02-13-banana 02-13-banana COGS COGS 03-shhhh 03-shhhh 03-shhhh 04-cheers

I think everyone's well aware that the Big East no longer sponsors football. It was kind of a thing a few years back.
