RE: $257,500 per year
KB has done a good job at WMU. She kept Culhane WAY TOO LONG, and I think Lester was a bad hire, based on some misguided loyalty/obligation, but overall she has run a clean athletic department, with generally high marks academically, decent success with our teams, and she has represented the university with class. I would allow her to exit on her own terms when she desires that.

I fear us turning into an EMU or KSU when she does.

Her successor is of utmost importance going forward. I’m sure they have some earmarked candidates... but more important to the trend in athletics than head coaches is an AD with vision....

I predict a Monty Porter return a few years down the road.
Who was Monty Porter?

Outside of Dungey's runs which I think we would all agree aren't your traditional running plays, Syracuse averaged 3.2 yards per carry. I will take that every week.

In college football those are the types of plays you have to deal with every week. All about misdirection and getting guys in space. Those plays are now the rule more than the exception.
I will go out on a limb and say that no other QB that the Broncos face this season will have that kind of running success. People need to understand that Dungey is one of the best in the country at it.

I like Kathy. But I hope she's happy that her legacy is going to be tarnished if not destroyed by hiring her buddy.

Remember back in Dec 2012 when she wanted to hire TL and Dunn vetoed her and we got Fleck? That was one of the best decisions Dunn made.

Kathy, we lost, I said, though I knew she was sleeping.
