Thoughts, this week's BIG games.
Northwestern/Purdue- I really like both of these teams, especially on the offensive side. Northwestern is loaded at the QB position and Purdues skill positions could end up being tops in the conference. I believe the west division us going to be much stronger this year.

Minnesota- I didn't watch much of this game once Northwestern/Purdue started, did catch highlights. Not convinced yet on the QB. His completion % was very poor against a below average New Mexico State team. Running back looks great and defense looked ok too.

Please add your thoughts!
Looking forward to Michigan and Maryland's games this weekend.

Wisconsin looked better. Western Kentucky is no slouch. Utah State is pretty competitive as well, but to be ranked 11th Michigan State should have shown more consistency and a lot more defense.

My "surprise" pick for the conference was Michigan State because I think they don't fulfill this lofty ranking. It's early but not a good start for the Spartans.

Wisconsin- can't say much, you know what you're getting with them. Looked good and looked the same as years past. I have them picked to win BIG this year.

Yes, the defense did not look good at all.

That didn't look like a team that should be ranked 11th. Still early but Scott at running back is not impressive at all to me. We shall see if that can improve!

Rutgers and Illinois- didn't see these games so a win is a win.

Ohio State- through 2 quarters, offense rolling, defense giving up to many big plays.

Maryland- through 3 quarters, I'm thinking Texas is happy this series will be over soon.

Penn State- wow, very fun game to watch! I honestly didn't think Penn State played that bad. Is Appalachian State just that good? This was a head scratcher.

I hope so and I think so as well. Hopefully we stay injury free and prove we are this good.

Kudos to App State. Thought Penn State's offense, particularly McSorely was poor in the first half. App State didn't quit and put up a good fight.

It was all about doing it for Jordan McNair. I wish the players tons of success but want the administration gone.

Michigan offense is horrible. Notre Dame looked pretty good, congrats Irish!

RE: Thoughts, this week's BIG games.
Thoughts.....

1) NW - Looks like Clayton Thorson is back and 100%
2) Purdue - Not quite there yet, but improving
3) tOSU - Won big, should have
4) WI - Watching the game you think it's going meh to OK, then you realize the score is 34-3
5) MN - Not impressed
6) Iowa - Hate to say it, but Impressed
7) PSU - Hey James Franklin, where did you hide that horseshoe?
8) Rutgers - Did what they had to do and won
9) IU - See MN
10) MSU - Overrated
11) Michigan - See MSU
12) Illinois - BAD
13) Maryland - Congrats! Overcame everything and "hooked" the horns.
