Interesting numbers - about 40,000 tickets sold OR GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE by a P5 BIG 10 program for an important conference game. Of these, less than 30,000 actually showed up for the game. Considering the static UAB has gotten over some free tickets in the past, one might be surprised to find that tactic in use among well established P5 schools.

Remember Nick Saban throwing a tantrum over "Greek" groups leaving a home game early to get a head start on that night's partying? Imagine his reaction if only 30,000 showed up for a home conference game in the first place.

Well maybe Little Nicky Mouse should schedule somebody other than Arky St., LA-Lafayette, & the Citadel. It really is going to please me greatly when this little reign of success is over for them.

I'm glad this new stadium forced all these fans to show up... wait, did you say building a winning tradition made them come out... you don't say. 05-stirthepot
