Things that stand out on the depth chart:
1. We may have the biggest 3-deep Jack LBs in the country
2. QB has Johnston 3rd
3. Woolbright beat out the other Johnston at LB
4. Jarrion Street is #2 RB, ahead of Davis and Noble

LB Johnston will play quite a bit. QB Johnston may not.

We will play three qbs this year. Even without injuries BC / BV does this. Last year was not the norm.

add in the fact of the new rule regarding red shirting.etc. (not that it applies to the QB Johnston)

How is Johnston's throwing shoulder?

Looks fine. I suspect if everything equal Dallas would get the two nod being a senior and more experienced in BV system. I expect TJ to play some though.

Did Johnston get a medical redshirt for last year? If so, he should still be a three year starter beginning next year.

Yes, he received a red shirt.

According to HCBC at the press conference it seems the only RB that has been healthy throughout Spring and Summer is Noble. The others have been dinged at various times with Davis the most recent. All seem to be okay now(Stanley may still be rehabbing last year's knee injury a bit), but have to work themselves back up the chart.

I see a lot of 1 and 1-a type listings. There will be a ton of rotation especially in the first half of the season. Tyler will get as many snaps as possible because next year they're going to throw him the keys and tell him to drive. The first 2 games next year are non conference (ASU and Akron) so he'll have a chance to prove himself before the conference schedule
