#14 NC A&T vs #6 Jax'ville St open up the FCS schedule. The Aggies are up 7-0 in the 2nd quarter. Penalties at every turn but it's good to see FCS football on TV.

Maine is crushing UNH. The stat line is humiliating for UNH. Naturally, we play Maine this season and not UNH.

URI is beating UD

FBS upset watch: KennSt is beating GA State and Weber St is pushing Utah

To be fair, Trevor Knight went down early and did not return.

URI and Maine win. Going to be a free for all kinda season. Until they play a game, JMU, with a new QB, has to show it's business as usual.

We also play URI and not UD. Maine has done very well against us the last few years. Hoping to see an improved team this year.

Before going out Knight was 3-8 for 25 yds. and was sacked twice. UNH o-line was apparently overwhelmed throughout the game.

Trying to remember, was it Marcus Hyde who just abused UNH's RT several years ago? I think Marcus had in the neighborhood of 4 sacks and a few TFL that game. The entire Wildcats OL was porous.

That’s fair to say. I do think that it would’ve been closer of Knight was healthy though.

Maine amassed over 400 yards with a fairly even split between run and pass.

They had many more first downs and kept UNH in the negative for rushing yards. That sounds a whole lot like our '09 defense.

With Maine dedicating that home opener game to their player who died, I don't think anyone would have beaten them last night.

UD was #16 and lost to a team the experts picked to finish last in the CAA. UNH was #9 and got smoked. Preseason polls are *almost* meaningless except, watch, Maine will shoot up the rankings based on a win vs a team that may not be good.

Nova is the real deal this year. I said in another post but don’t be surprised if they are top10 by the time we play them.

JMU had a shot to beat NC State Interested to see how the season turns out, plenty of CAA teams that could make a run

DiNucci had a solid first day. 23 of 27 for 197 in the air and 14 carries for 79 yds on the ground.
