RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
I wasn't able get tickets on the NCAA website. I have attended the two NC games the past two years and have gotten tickets from the secondary market/JMU fans so hoping to do the same if they make it.

I still haven't gotten the email from the NCAA. Wouldn't have mattered, the website was a sh*tstorm anyway. Small time operation.

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
There are still a handful of "hospitality" / club seats in the endzone and sidelines. singles on the sidelines, up to 8 in the endzone.

https://www.ncaa.com/tickets/football/fcs

Click the hospitality link, code word "CHAMP"

Technically, this was the "presale" and there is a small chance of some additonal inventory being released in Saturday during the "public" sale.

Whenever I'm buying tix that just went on sale, I always make sure my ad blockers, pop up blockers, scanners and that kind of stuff are off, they can interfere with the process. I picked and paid for 8 seats in about 90 seconds.

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
so the email I got today at 10:40 was to the email address I signed up with last year. I later unsubscribed from the NCAA mailing list after NDSU won the championship because I didn't want to read that ish ever again.

The email I signed up with this time around never got a sign up link/code.

Probably the same situation for the rest of you who got an email - they used last year's list at the last second.

Yep, pretty sure they fell asleep on this, and at the last second used last year's list, then scrambled to put together the new one after the sale was underway.

Probably screwed a big chunk of our fans that tried to sign up this year. Be sure to email tickets@ncaa.org with your thanks for a job well done.

This snafu certainly helped a certain school in Fargo. They are a well oiled machine as far as securing tickets. A whole lot of our fans were unaware of the presale till this year. As such, not being on last year's list really hurts. May have to go into old man (54) mode and write a "strongly worded letter" to the NCAA!

This isn’t true. I signed up for first time this year and got email around 10:40 as well. Some other issue must exist.

I signed up last year and got a code. I didn’t sign up this year and still got a code. It came at 10:46am.

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
Last year all the emails seemed to go out at 6:00am sharp.

This year most folks who signed up last year got emails between 10:40-10:46. A few first timers report they got them in this window also.

Some other people signing up this year either got an email after 1:00pm, or not at all.

It feels like a last minute half @ssed job was done managing the emails this year. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me why these weren’t all queued up and sent out at once within a few minutes of each other. It’s possible it was better for those who signed up last week sometime than those signing up Tuesday at the end. Either way they dropped the ball here.

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
Well, for those who didnt get tickets through the NCAA ticketing shitshow, and thinks they’d be borderline getting them through the Duke Club or think/know they won’t, a few things:

IF its both NDSU & JMU again in Frisco:
-stadium should have another 2,500 or so seats than last year, so that should ease secondary price pressure a little bit compared to last year.
-I believe they’ve sold around 1k SRO before the game in the past (Not sure if entire stadium seats outside schools’ allotments was sold today).

-We won’t know for 13+ weeks whether or not JMU is on the same side of the bracket as NDSU.
-Will be 17+ weeks until we know who the 2 teams going to Frisco are.

Stating the obvious, but if its not both JMU & NDSU in Frisco, there won’t be much to worry about as far as tickets (obviously zero to worry abour if JMU isnt in it). No sense worrying about something you can’t do much about now. Cross that bridge IF we get to it in Dec..In the meantime, enjoy the season. GO DUKES!

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
Just a reminder that officially the “presale” ends and tickets go on sale to general public today at 11:00am

There’s a small possibility they held back some tickets for release today

https://www.ncaa.com/tickets/football/fcs

There are separate links for the presale and general public sale today

RE: 2019 Frisco Tickets
For anyone who bought extra tickets to Frisco, like me, thought I'd pitch something to think about...With the impossibility that JMU and NDSU will not face each other in Frisco, I wondered what that would mean for ticket demand in January. If JMU were to advance, finding tickets shouldn't be a problem (be it via JMU's allotment or not) and the game should be near or at a sellout. If NDSU were to advance, tickets will probably sell out. If any team not JMU or NDSU should advance ..... ??? Lots of question marks for me based on the other side of the bracket too.

I guess my point is this... if you're sitting on 8 tickets and they're not spoken for, they seem to be selling at a pretty high value right now on FlashSeats (double face value). I picked up a few extra back in August and once I knew JMU and NDSU couldn't meet, I listed the tickets and they sold pretty quickly. No doubt some of you sold weeks ago when we weren't #2 in the country anymore. I'll grab another glass of purple koolaid quick - obv JMU is going to Frisco in January but I don't think tickets will be as hard to come by, and I don't think people will be paying hundreds of dollars for them this time around because of increased capacity and potential matchups. Sell high, buy low amirite?

I don't think anyone will take a loss on Frisco tickets unless JMU or NDSU don't advance to the title game.

If JMU goes, will use the seats. If it's NDSU, profit! Demand always exceeds supply for them. I'd expect peak demand to occur immediately at the conclusion of either the quarterfinal or semifinal game based on past years.

Odds of both JMU and NDSU getting knocked out seems rather low. Nobody outside JMU has ever beaten them in the playoffs at the dome.

I'm waiting until after the NDSU game, should we get there, to jump on tickets. If NDSU wins, I won't need them. If we win, Bison fans will be unloading a truckload of tickets.

Some Bison fans are thinking this way too, only many more of them.

My bet is their demand will exceed our supply if they win the quarterfinal.

Last year they had fans saying they were purchasing tickets towards the end of their semifinal game, when they thought the game was in hand.

2019 Frisco Tickets
Should have held mine but made $300 profit on 4 tickets earlier this week. Would gladly trade that for being back in Frisco! Next year!
