dogpile is my preferred search engine, but I prefer bing for any and all news content. A close second place would be Drudge Report and then NPR.

Bing only if you are willing to sign up for Microsoft Rewards and use Bing to earn points for giftcards.

Yahoo! has some good sports coverage but the only time I used their search in the last decade was after I installed Linux Mint and it was the default.
