College Sports Journal Previews
See many Sun Belt previews as we count down all the Division I schools--both FBS and FCS.

RE: College Sports Journal Previews
I'm not acknowledging any review that puts our conference in a review with ever FCS team in the country. As for State, we put 24-25000 in the stadium routinely, spent absolute millions and millions (60+) in the past few years on facility improvements, provide every athlete (regardless of the sport) a full stipend at a cost of over one $million plus schlorships along with every advantage that can be found at any P5. After the price paid by State when becoming FBS was truly tough to do so, I don't like being included with FCS.

It’s a pretty weak article

These guys if I recall are very FCS centric

For instance it has CCU ranked 6th in the state of S.C. so presumably behind Clemson and SCar and I’m guessing also behind Furman, Wofford, and the citadel

What a joke of a website. While I am not a fan of that school down in Lafayette, for them to say they are the 7th best team in Louisiana is laughable. They consider McNeese and Nichols to be better teams. Now, McNeese is a good FCS program, but they are no where near the talent of ULL and to have Nichols ranked ahead of them just shows a site that is FCS centric and doesn't understand FBS football.

Obviously, LSU would be #1. I imagine Tech is ranked #2, and that is understandable with their recent success. I can see why they would put ULM ahead of them, but we have to prove that the offense last year wasn't a fluke and that defense can approve. Argument for Tulane would be pretty weak as they have won 3, 4, and 5 games over the last 3 years.

Stupid

UNCC is 10th in North Carolina, Western Carolina is ranked 9th.....I declare this fair and accurate reporting.

The Idea that Nichols State could even challenge UL on the field is laughable.

Well, Nicholls only lost by 2 to Georgia last year and 10 to Texas A&M, so I’d say they could challenge them. SLU we open with beat Nicholls though last year, so that’s kinda concerning.

2016, UGA and Nicholls State didn't play last season.

RE: College Sports Journal Previews
There is no way that one can honestly compare a FCS program with a FBS unless the FCS plays at least three to four FBS teams during the season which they arn't going to do. Nuts.

This is so bad I can’t help but talk about how bad

I know most of you don’t think we will be much but this crowd thinks that 40 FCS teams are better than we are

Not to mention 3
Furman
Wofford
The citadel in our own state are better

Laughable

Do I think there was 40 FCS teams that almost beat Arkansas last year? Of course its laughable along with being a whole lot of stupid. This so call review is a perfect example of why we should pull for every conference team to win each of its OOC games, and win big. These folks and their small closed minds have to be shut up.
