CBS Sports Preseason Bowl projections
I think they went with intriguing matchups, and because of that its almost impossible to guess who they have winning the league. The reason is, if these were the potential bowl opponents, this is exactly how I'm sure the SBC Would probably want the matchups to work on our end.

New Orleans: ULM vs La Tech
Mobile: Arkansas State vs Ohio
Montgomery: Appalachian State vs Western Michigan
Orlando: Troy vs Temple

CBS has NMSU in the Zona bowl, so that means they have us leaving that vacant.

03-lmfao Long season to go but it would be funny if NOLA bowl turned out like that.....worth it just to watch Tech fans squirm. A beat down would be even better.

Right now, I just want us to get to that magic 6 and then see what happens.

20 days 9 hours 8 minutes to kick off.

20 days 8 minutes to tailgate time.

To me, the opposing conference is just as important as location. Even though we play two C-USA schools this year, I'd still rather see App play a C-USA or AAC school (or better yet, a P5 school at the Peach Bowl if I'm gonna dream big) rather than yet another MAC school. At least WMU would be a non-Ohio school, though.

Or they don't realize NMSU isn't a Sun Belt team anymore yet.

Completely agree there. We already know that Satt owns the MAC, let's see a little variety.

It's Jerry Palm. I would hope he knows that.

This is funny because it's so totally possible.

I still feel bad* for the 33 LaTech seniors who were robbed of a bowl game just because their administration thought they were too big time to play us.

*well, not completely bad....
