We hosted a ranked Oklahoma State team last year but didn’t fare as well with a Senior Mason Rudolph at the helm. We also hosted Mississippi State the year they were ranked #1 for a few weeks, but they were unranked when they visited Ladd.

Miami was #25 when they played at App.

We hosted #17 Memphis and had it won handily until we choked it away in the last few minutes.

Memphis in 2004 was ranked in the top 20

Missouri was ranked in the top 25 when we played them in 2015. They did not stay there for very long.

Cajuns hosted Alabama in 1990 and Texas A&M in 1996. Lost to Bama 25-6 and beat A&M 29-22

Houston was ranked when we beat them in 2012. I believe LaTech was also (2012)

App hosted Miami who was #25.

Houston was #6 when we hosted them in 2016.

2015 Missouri was rated 21
2004 Memphis was rated 25
If not cancelled AState would have hosted 15 Miami last year.

LaTech was ranked when we played them....I just checked. They were in and out of the rankings all season.

LaTech was ranked when we played them....I just checked. They were in and out of the rankings all season.

I was referring to UH. I guess I should have specified. La tech was definitely ranked. 18th if I remember correctly. I was at that game. It was probably one of the most entertaining games I've seen.

That LA Tech game was a blast to watch. Almost upset them in a shootout.

The UH game was not fun after the kickoff.

La Tech game was 62-55? Something like that? Agree that was a really fun game to attend.

As far as the UH game: our 2016 team was, uh, pathetic. I hope our program never stoops to the level that was that 2016 team ever again. Worst TXST team I've ever seen in my 13 years.

Cajuns hosted TA&M when they were ranked. I'm not sure if Alabama or OKST was ranked when they played at Cajun Field.

This is not anywhere recent but in 1973 ULM (then NLU) hosted #20 (AP) Richmond in Monroe. At that time Richmond had the nation's longest winning streak at 14 games. Richmond was a Division I school and ULM/NLU was a Division II school.

The Indians beat the Richmond Spiders 14-8 and ended that winning streak.

The 1973 season was kinda similar to our 2012 season regarding big wins and upsets. In addition to the win over Richmond we tied both Troy and Mississippi State plus a win over Northwestern State which ranked us 14th in Division II with a 1-0-2 record. Outside of the win over Richmond the rest of the season was a bust and we went 3-5-2.
