I just feel like UCF will lose some ground with the new coach. I don’t expect a repeat.

Guess we'll find out soon. I have a feeling UCF will have the same fate as WMU after they lost row the boat guy. They have some talent, but Scott Frost is a once in a lifetime coach for a G5.

It's fun to talk about, but it's all just talk until the games are played.

UCF will likely spank UNCheat which will help them, Cheat has a couple starters out that game i believe and UCF should beat them either way

Slightly disappointed App isn't at least receiving votes considering the way they finished the year. But understandable with the ?s at some key positions. But preseason predictions don't mean a thing, just win baby and it'll all play out at the end.

UCF has to play FAU and they have that rival game with USF at the end of the season. Those are two they could easily lose.

If Troy is on this list, we should definitely be receiving votes. I feel like our situation is very similar. I think we are both deserving.

Having Wyoming on there after going 8-5 and losing a top 5 pick at QB makes no sense.

Maybe Wyoming can become the Texas/Notre Dame/Michigan of G5 preseason polls.

Hoping we can knock off Boise at home in that first game of the season and move up that list! Look for a really large attendance that game, with a lot of energy from the Troy fan base. Alabama is playing in Orlando and Auburn is playing in Atlanta so that should help our attendance some. Troy fans are excited to have a ranked Boise coming, plus we're excited about experiencing a game in the stadium with the completed end zone facility. It's going to be a great game day experience. Previous games like this have ended up being the perfect storm for the upset. This has that same feeling.

Could y'all possibly break an attendance record?

I remember the first home game of 2014 coming off beating the Florida Gators and only losing to NC ST by 1 point, headed into a new conference in a higher division with a newly expanded stadium, and the energy surrounding that season.

Here's hoping your season turns out just as special 04-cheers

It’s very likely

Stadium capacity is slightly larger, we set an attendance record last year. And with a ranked team coming to town I expect this to be over 30,000

Sounds like the conditions are right.

Excitement? check
Recognizable opponent? check
Shiny new things? check
P5 distractors out of town? check

Seems like Troy will be the place to be for college football in Alabama on Sept 1!
