I have principles to uphold. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause Forgotten5. (Not that they care)

FAU may have had the better record, but Troy has the win over LSU and App blanked the MAC champions while the best team FAU beat was probably North Texas (who would probably have finished 5th in the Sun Belt).
We both handled UNT about the same. They beat Akron 50-3, and we almost lost, so there's that. Outside of that, they had a better offense, we had a better defense.
It took until conference play to get it together so their OOC record didn’t show how good they were at the end of the year. I’d have liked to seen that game. If your D could stop Singletary then hats off to you. They lose some good peices but still return a lot and it seems they’ve reloaded with some transfers. They definitely should be mentioned Ming the top G5. App, Ark St and Troy all seem to have solid teams but the Sun Belt drops off pretty drastically after that. CUSA was certainly deeper last year so the argument that FAU was feeding on weak conference competition doesn’t hold water.
