After Straw Ban, Councilman Pushed Regulating 'Every Aspect of People's Lives'
Quote:A Santa Barbara Councilman, Jason Dominguez, backpedaled his comments from a public hearing about banning plastic straws.

During the hearing, Dominguez said, “Unfortunately, common sense is just not common. We have to regulate every aspect of people's lives.”

This comment didn't sit well with his constituents or many Americans. According to Santa Barbara's Noozhawk, the councilman is trying to take back the statement, calling it “rhetorical” and just a “string of words.”

“I just wanted to apologize. A few weeks ago I made a string of words in a rhetorical fashion about regulation and they were not taken as rhetorical and that's my fault so I want to apologize.”

Dominguez added that he wanted to remove any “confusion” about his statement, saying “I wanted to clear the record and get back to working on issues that are important to people, like revitalizing State Street, helping small businesses succeed, and public safety.”

The president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce for Santa Barbara, Ken Oplinger, said, “It was not the smartest thing to say. What he said was politically dumb.”

Dominguez stated that he wished he would have remained focused on the impact for businesses, saying, “What I should have focused on was gratitude toward the business community who overwhelmingly decided to ditch certain products seen as not environmental.”

Bwahahahaha. These dummies are so unhinged they are forgetting to lie. Trump has trashed talked his opponents into telling the truth.

Like a catcher rattling a batter "saw you girlfriend with Billy Bob at the Sonic last night...mud all over the truck"

Strike 3

Bwahahahaha
