I was worried about playing Arkansas State. I knew they were tough and remembered the previous year's game.

I did not see the game but heard it on the radio then watched highlights on YouTube. It was a knock down drag out battle. The Crimson Canines moved the ball well all game. Troy always got their backs up and held on in critical plays. Either getting a turnover or forcing a field goal try.

I was tickled to get out of there with a win. Also glad it did not last another minute.

Yep. That's what character is all about. Seems we knocked out a top 25 team on their home field, shook their hands and went home. Hmmm.

But seriously, you had every right to celebrate a conference championship. You earned it that night. This year will be decided differently. I'm so glad that co-championship stuff is gone.
