Who has the Best Athletic Facilities in the SBC?
Feel like this needs to be a poll. I will post my schools Athletic Facilities, but I am hoping other people on this board will post their athletic complexes. SBC has a total of 12 schools which could be upwards of of 80 or more pics. So this thread will be an epic fail or success. So let’s give it a go. I tried to keep it about 14 or 15 pics.

If we're talking about across all sports, it's probably UL.

Wasn’t trying to really make it a competition just a way for each school to showcase there facilities.

What? You have a poll and the title is who has the best. How is that not a competition?

If y'all were curious I got the idea from the Best Stadium thread, someone proposed it, so I tried to implement it. If y'all want delete the thread then delete it. I can't delete the thread.

Except for the lack of an on-campus football stadium, South Alabama's athletic facilities are second to none in the Sun Belt conference. From what I've seen the SBC has some pretty impressive facilities. (OCS- TC)

This has always been it. And he still shouldn't be worried about it. It's a decent topic. One that was obviously weighted in favor of his school but I can appreciate that he was trying to point out how many of the schools in the conference are investing in upgraded facilities to enhance their programs. The cajuns headed that way a few years before many of the others and have a very decided set of great features to offer their recruits and athletes.

Well the money that we have was invested into the Athletic Complex, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Track and Field etc.. Where we are playing catch up is our Football Stadium. Which we are doing the feasibility study as of right now.

Different schools chose different things to focus on. Troy, and Ark. St. chose to redo there football stadium first. We chose to upgrade the rest first.

True. And your baseball is super great. For stAte it's a case of pursuing what we can get donors to go for, I suspect. I'm not the AD so I can't say with certainty. When they finally had success in football with Freeze donors were excited. With Mahlzan it turned into a fever. Strike while the iron is hot.

Dont sweat it man. Thanks for sharing. Never been there but UL seems to have top-notch facilities.

Troy has upgraded pretty much... everything. I don't think it's a stretch to say Troy has some of the best overall sports facilities among the G5.

RE: Who has the Best Athletic Facilities in the SBC?
There isn't a lot separating the top few schools WRT total facilities. Much of the Cajuns' improvements have come in the last 5 or so years........softball, baseball, track and field. The Cajundome has always been a decent facility, and with the most recent upgrades ... extremely nice. But capacity is quite large and typically only filled to 50-60% at best. Long gone are the days when we needed 9-10K seats for basketball. Troy and A State in particular are leading the pack in the football stadium IMO; but others are making good progress. Cajun Field will soon be turning 50 years old with very few improvements over that time; so the major upgrades being studied now will be a tremendous improvement. Lots of nice improvements being made throughout the conference!

Having visited all of the campuses, I think Troy is the only one that gives UL a run for its money. None of their facilities are second rate. Basketball is near the top of the league, football as well. Baseball is in the top 5. Softball is in the upper half.
