RE: Scheduling updates
Syracuse likes playing near Detroit and Chicago. We recruit both areas. WMU series will be interesting. We did a 2 for 1 with CMU and 3 wins. Not sure if they want to do a 2 for 1 with Emu. Toledo probably wants payback after the extra point call. NIU might be a possibility too.

BL: I see Cuse scheduling some 1 for 1s and 2 for 1s versus those schools over the next decade.

Eastern Michigan cancelled their home game with Michigan St because they wanted a payday game. Similarly, they won't schedule you guys at home due to wanting more payday games.

Agree.

FBS programs should only compete against other FBS programs. Period.

It is bad enough when a G5 team plays an FCS opponent. Even worse with a P5 team does (see Alabama vs. Mercer last year...what an embarrassment, even for a program that has no shame/ethics).

For what it is worth, I proudly wore my "UCF National Champions! " t-shirt in Columbus, Georgia earlier this summer. Columbus borders Alabama and is only 30 minutes from Auburn. Had three people stop me to complain that it was disrespectful. I said not allowing an undefeated league champion into the playoff was disrespectful.

Fun to piss-off arrogant P5 fans. Of course, if I wore it in Ann Arbor, or East Lansing, they are so myopic, ignorant, and self-absorbed, they wouldn't understand. They think UCF is a D-II program
Ha Ha to your last couple lines. Soooooooo true.
(But honestly surprised during our Cotton Bowl year MSU/UofM fans never called us D2. They seemed really respectful of us :) )

And am surprised people stopped you to say that. Were they that offended? Frankly, I would've told them to '**** off' if they said it was disrespectful. bull**** the whole system of D1 NCAA football is disrespectful.
