Thanks! The bulk of this team has been together for three season's now. They were stellar in D2 last year but choked in the conference and NCAA tourneys.

This season, they have been a bright spot in the first year of transition. Roar Lions!

My thoughts are tied to both of your posts. I'm finding the ASUN scheduling curious in many ways but this one (a week off) was much needed for UNA's men this week. Those guys have traveled thousands of miles since November due to the hodge-podge transition non-con scheduling. They just looked tired the past couple of games.

The scheduling, though, is odd in several ways especially when same schools play on consecutive days for men's/women's instead of on the same day. I think it's mainly happening on weekdays but it dilutes the experience - in my opinion.

We've been harping on attendance on the UNA Pride forums and that scenario doesn't help that component at all.

That's the life of a mid-major conference and I would say is the norm for most conferences. They get one bid and only two or three teams are real threats to win it. What will be interesting is if the same contenders are at the top annually or if it rotates with different graduating classes.

I hope the same top teams stay on top. I want LU, LU, and FGCU to always be strong and fighting it out, building lasting tradition. I want the others to be succeful..... just not as.
