ULM appearing so early on the schedule is why I put them there. They should be improved on defense and bring back of their top ranked offense. Their QB is the kind we have trouble with. They'll probably want to avenge that ass whooping we gave them last time we played as well. Gonna be a tough game.

Disclaimer: This is not a ranking of opponents...this is taking into account location, how late in the season it is, and how I think we'll match up against a certain team.

1. @Clemson
2. @ULM (this game is on the road in between App State and Troy and has "letdown" written all over it)
3. App State (probably have done better overall against our offense than any other team in this league)
4. Troy
5. UMass (Second game of the season, they finished strong last year)
6. Ark State (They didn't do that great against Summers offense, and pass defense will be strong suit for us)
7. South Alabama (Good news is we have them at home and South struggles against our offense, bad news is they've got coaching now)
8. @Georgia State (Like home field advantage seems to matter in this game)
9. @Coastal (they've got the coaches and a few skill players to make things interesting)
10. @NMSU
11. @ Texas State
12. South Carolina State

That’s a difficult schedule for The cajuns
The first 5 games you will be underdogs for sure

Then it’s no slipping up after that even IF you are favorites

We finally have multiple solid Saturday home games! Probably the best schedule we have had since joining the Belt. I am in the minority but I would rather play app St on a Saturday than have it on tv on a Thursday.

Offensively we are one of the most experienced G5 teams. The only part of the offense that may struggle is running back and we have a decent bit of talent there just unproven. Defense is expected to be rough but we do have a strong secondary. The line is questionable but we bring back most of the defense plus plenty of juco guys to beef it up. The depth and quality is much better than a year ago. Do I think Troy should win that game? Yes, but your fan base is delusional to think Troy will beat us by 45.

UNT said the same thing but we ended up scoring a little more than we even predicted.
