Mueller's response was two-fold. On the issue of collusion, the special counsel, in a motion filed July 6, flatly said, "The government does not intend to present at trial evidence or argument concerning collusion with the Russian government and, accordingly does not oppose the defendant's motion in that respect."

Where's ol slapnuts at that was bragging about all the Mueller indictments.
So let's recap..
Flynn is being sentenced for lying to the FBI- not collusion
Manafort is being tried on sh*t not associated with the campaign- not collusion
The Russian trolls are asking for a speedy trial and Mueller's team of aces is stalling and trying to pass it off the the State AG- not collusion or proof of interference.

I can't speak for others, but this surprises me not one bit. Manafort was never indicted for collusion, if that's even a crime, he was indicted for issues with foreign accounts, tax return and bank fraud. So why would Mueller be bringing up collusion at trial for those specific things?
But, of course, this does nothing to prove or refute any potential trump campaign and Russia collusion regardless.

So do you think it appropriate that a special counsel appointed to investigate Russian interference in our elections 'and related charges' should be indicting people for events not related to Russian interference in our elections? Or that people who claim that this indictment (and others in the same vein) represent some sort of justification for the investigation are in some way accurate?
Or do you give them the same response? (not asking you to there... just asking if you would)

Some libs here shot wads that hit the ceiling when Manafort was indicted. Who better to help Trump collude with Russians than a guy who was up to his neck dealing with Russians? Manafort indicted! It just had to be the end of the orange one.

Maybe if Mueller would put this non-related matter involving manafort on the back burner, he could actually wrap up the trump/Russia BS. Did he claim just a couple of weeks ago that he was finally going to focus on the alleged collusion?
