They’re better than everyone else in this league.

That can at least be argued, haha. It wouldn't surprise me if you guys won it all. That said, Anderson's teams simply don't have that killer instinct in OOC. Outside of the SBC, they never seem like a truly dominant team. He also has Hansen rated higher than Tua Tagovailoa. I have incredible doubts that Hansen will be the best QB on the field when you play Alabama.

Ding ding ding. stAte fans are usually calling for Anderson's head by the end of the OCC run and then love him again after conference. Red Wolves are very good but still waiting for that complete season.

Umm not since 2015.
Anderson's support has eroded each year since.

You don't win fan support by having an offense that puts up yards and has a nasty tendency to lose games because of uncontrolled turnovers.

Other than Toledo, I don't think we've lost to a G5 the last two years where we didn't put more yards up but managed to be negative on turnover margin.

Wikipedia is having to look very far back to begin with. The last time we played a Service Academy was the next to last game of the Steve Roberts era in 2010 when our idiot AD ridiculously agreed to a money game at Navy of all places and we got Triple Optioned to death.

That team went 4-8 and was the last AState team to miss a bowl. Some of the players on this years team were still in elementary school when that happened.

Side note: That 2010 team was the team that started our now 8 game win streak over ULM.

We got ranked 2 years ago because we won 3 of our OOC games and gave national champion Clemson everything it could handle.

I would say you were ranked 2 years ago because you were able to come from behind to beat USA. If you could have done that last year you’d have been ranked again.

If you think the AState frustrations with Anderson are bad now. Losing to Georgia Southern would probably cause it to get really ugly.

Well yes. Had we beaten USA we would have a good shot at being ranked in the top 20 let alone top 25 by the end of bowl season. 12-1 would have been sweet... but
11-2 is nothing to sneeze at either

Why?

He should have lost to Summers at least once, and could have twice.

There's a big difference between almost losing and actually losing. Fans complaining about Anderson struggling to beat bad teams tend to get shouted down because we ended up winning the game anyway.

Anderson's conference record has kept him ahead of some of his major critics. He won't be able to shut those critics up if he starts losing league games more than once in a blue moon.

Everybody else in the conference has lost to us. Y’all have to at some point. Might as well rip the bandaid off.
