Laced Flyer Sends Sheriff's Sergeant To Hospital
Quote:Flyers left on the windshields of vehicles outside a sheriff's office administrative building tested positive for the opioid fentanyl.

On Tuesday, a Texas sheriff’s sergeant received medical attention after taking a fentanyl-laced flyer off her windshield. The sergeant became lightheaded after coming in contact with the flyer and was released from the hospital later the same day.

“It's one of the major concerns of law enforcement these days because there's a high number of overdoses that we've seen in other parts of the country. Law enforcement is now grappling with that,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said, according to CNN.

It is unknown whether the flyers were planted to affect law enforcement or were a random offense. The flyers were found on 10 to 20 vehicles outside the administrative building on both civilian and law enforcement agents' vehicles.

Uh, the vehicles were at a Sheriff's Dept complex....... I'd say it was a targeted attack.
