What do you think is one of the reasons the whole Russia investigation exists? It's gotten a lot of these folks almost two extra years of employment. If not for appearances because of the investigation they would all be gone by now.

I think it took 3, but I didn't have a stopwatch.
Watergate “started” in June 1972 when the 5 burglars got arrested by DC cops in a high-end office/retail/condo building. When it “ended” is a matter of interpretation but Nixon’s resignation in August ’74 and the pardon 30 days later was certainly a time when a lot of people moved on.

I remember the day Nixon resigned. Had a date with a girl from Breaux Bridge. Long black hair. Don't recall her name, but sure recall our date.

I remember our dad calling us into the room to witness Nixon's resignation and telling us how historic it was. It was like a wake at our house.
More like Trey became unhinged. The Republican hate and fear was strong in him yesterday. And by the way, he was up there looking like a hobo. Please get that man a shave.

Can you name which of the previous Benghazi investigations discovered that Hillary had no state dept emails?
Can you name which Benghazi investigation led to criminal indictments?
I can name at least one which found criminal behavior.
When you control the power to seek indictments, you can control whether such behavior is indicted or not.

He flew off in the helicopter on August 9.
On August 9, Caesar defeated Pompey in 48 BC
The Goths defeated Emperor Valens in 378 which contributed to the fall of the Empire and the rise of cavalry in battle.
The internal combustion engine was patented in 1898 leading to the fall of cavalry in battle.
And 1945 Nagasaki happened. That combined with Hiroshima changed war too.

One of these things does not equal the other.
Fine. How long did Whitewater last?
Wasn’t a fan of that one either.
Looking in to a sketchy land deal ends up where it did. But, whoever advised the bubba to lie to a grand jury, well can’t help you there.
He did what he did, and is now credibly viewed as a serial sexual predator, soooooo...

The one that put the movie maker in jail.
Interesting that you bring that up... a youtube video supposedly responsible for a "spontaneous reaction"....
A Libyan man was convicted of terrorism charges, in part due to witnesses that said it was a planned attack.
"Prosecutors presented witnesses who said that leading up to the attacks, Mr. Khattala had talked about the need to get rid of what he saw as an American spy base in Benghazi, and gathered weapons with his militia a few days beforehand.
Prosecutors said that he showed up outside the diplomatic mission before the assault there began, that he had been in phone contact with several of the attackers who were part of his militia — a prosecutor, Michael DiLorenzo, called them part of his “hit squad” — and that afterward he had expressed frustration that another militia leader had prevented him from killing more Americans as they were evacuated." https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/28/us/po...ttala.html
Despite the previous administration's blatant lies and the MSM's push of the narrative, the courts found enough evidence to convict a man and reasonable evidence it was a planned event.

Finally recalled her name, Elaine. Dated a number of girls from there. Crawfish capitol of the world.

You do realize that the reason Huckabee became the governor of Arkansas was because of whitewater? The governor of a state was convicted in that deal. Just because the CLintons skated in another crime doesnt mean there was nothing there.

Can't say I ever ate at Mulates. Most of those places we considered tourist dives. Did have a few meals at Pat's on the Levee over in Henderson. Lots of good places to eat all around the area.
Elaine and I enjoyed the $2 a pitcher beer night over at the Keg and then headed over to my apartment on Smith Street.
