Tom is just a crybaby who like I said, had his chance to stand behind his words and punted. He can spin it all he wanted, but it is what it is.

I can promise you that to the Trump Admin, the fact that I am Gay is all that matters.

So for persons of color, and LGBT persons, that's all that matters. Don't whine about identity politics because you guys are simply amping it up to exponential heights.

To us, you are completely summed up by your support of Trump. It defines you so much more than the fact I am a Gay man.

No Tom, everyone is judged in one way or another. Not just the gay man. Not just the black man. Not just the brown man. You ever heard the term white trash? How about redneck? Only a few of us get to live our life without being judged in a negative way. If you really want to know struggles....try going up poor, yes white and poor. The problem is you dont want equal treatment.....

you want to be special

White trash gets hospice beds. White trash has never been thrown out of a hospital in 40 degree weather in a wheelchair and then left to die in an emergency room parking lot. White trash doesn't get refused pre-paid cremation services. White trash can work for all taxpayer funded entities.

All of this refers to RECENT developments.

Lets do it this way give the name of the place that refused your brother because he was gay? I posted the national guild lines for hospice and they take in people dying of Aids. So give me the name and I will file a open record request to see if the refuse people based on being gay.

I'm sure everyone of those examples happened. I'm just as sure I can find where it happened to a white person. ****** things sometimes happens in life....to us all.

My brother who was a dope addict was refused 10 times by doctors to fill out the paper work to get tested for the liver transplant list. You cant just go into a center and sign yourself up. You need a doctor to refer you. Mostly because he was a addict. It took me refusing to sign him out of the hospital till a doctor filled out the two pages to refer him to the Vanderbilt Hospital Liver Trans Plant Center.

So it took 11 times of begging...other wise those doctors were letting him die. Going on 7 years post transplant and other than one slip up, drug free.

WE ALL GET JUDGED

It happens ALL the time to Gay people. Not just a one off. I'm still waiting to see if there's any legal action we can take. Or at least sue the doctor who made the medical determination that the hospice couldn't take him if they're daring to argue that it was a medical determination. Or file a medical complaint against his license. The situation is even more complicated by the fact that my brother died without a will and I'm waiting to get the court administrator out of the estate so they can't slow things down.

And there's a difference between trying to get into a medical program based upon a limited number of donors and just finding a bed to FRIGGIN DIE in.

Nope no difference because my brother was judged by those doctors "not worthy" . There's a big difference from getting a referrer from a doctor and even getting on the list. Most people try to get on the list early because you have to be healthy enough to make it through the surgery at the time you go on the list.

So most people are on the list for years before getting bad enough to move up to the top. Once refereed you go through 3 days of testing and that alone can wear a persons body out.

So nope, just like those you gave examples of, my brother, a white male, was judged not worthy by 10 different doctors. I kept fighting for him till I found one that didn't just look at him as white trash dope head.

You don't see Gay people as human, much less as equals. Oh, and regarding your supposed "Gay friend". You support Trump and the GOP while they implement HB 1523 in Mississippi, which will deny him medical care.

I bet if Tom woke up one day in a world where there was zero discrimination against alphabet people, he'd kill himself.

You'd lose that bet.

Doubt it. Based on your posts here, being discriminated against is what gives you a reason to live, a purpose in life. And that's fine, many people need some purpose in life. Just be honest about it.

You gonna answer my question about the Trump administration not recognizing that you're gay, or are you afraid it would expose you?

BS, how so?

You think the right was sitting back being sweet between 2008 and 2016? There was drama. There were people threatening to move out of the country. Everything was a "get guns while you still can" moment. Even gay marriage.

Cool, calm, and collected was not a thing back for you guys back then.

I dont seem to remember the right explicitly gunning down Democratic congressman en masse. Please educate me as to when this happened since it obviously is so much the same....

Not mentioning Giffords, but you guys had a guy run over people in Charlottesville when you were #WINNING.

There are wingnuts in all walks of life, no one has denied it. The looney left just has a much larger and more vocal share of them. Be proud, embrace them. I want to see them continue getting national attention, disrupting events, threatening the president and his aides.

You don't get to force all minorities into places where you can't see us and where we aren't fully participating in ALL facets of society.

That was the goal of segregation then, and Trumpism/white supremacy today.

You realize that lately it has been minorities pushing white people out of their 'spaces', right?

Not caring for the president is one thing, doing what the left is doing is so so much more than just that...

Hey, stop making so much sense with so few words damnit! I struggle to articulate my thoughts and have to write two paragraphs in order to poorly do so and here you are saying what I mean in one sentence.

Here's the difference:

Small child wants candy but is told no - he frowns but goes on with life = Republican

Small child wants candy but is told no - proceeds to meltdown and throw himself on the supermarket aisle floor and have a fit = Democrat

............why is it this way - too many little ones have been given the candy after throwing the fit............................

Perfect analogy.

To what rights is he referring? He enjoys and will continue to enjoy the same exact rights we are all afforded by our bill of rights. It's right there in the constitution for all to see, effing baffoon.

Notice he also mentions muslims. I wonder if he'd be as worried about the rights of muslims as they prepared to toss him off an 8 story building?

He'll try to dissuade them with logic and reason. Oh wait, no he won't. He's incapable of using it and they are incapable of understanding it. #splat

just like a typical fktard progressive to label anyone they dont agree with as racist white nationalists.... good for you prog-boy.

one would think after 50 years the left would start to realize that pulling out the nazi card in response to everything is about as attractive (and time worn) as a 90 year old street ho still plying the trade

XACLY!

I'm three years into the line above my avatar......

I'm laughing my arse off....

I just want some explanation of that line of thinking. Where were all the idiots organizing civil disobedience events during Obama's terms? Where are all the radical righties shouting down their opposition and denying speakers their platforms during the last 8 year run up to DJT becoming POTUS? Where were the crazed gunmen shooting up congressional extracurricular activities? Where were the congress persons demanding their constituents make fools of themselves by jeering and protesting cabinet members in their own homes and out in public?

Show me the links to actual events like those above and maybe I'll concede the point. There is no there there and the comment of "Same **** Different Party" is complete BS.

the best part about all this is folks like you and me are finally 'fed' up with this horseshite.....

I've stated this many times........my crew knew it would happen, we simply thought if would be 20 yrs. down the road.....

we never saw the internet coming.....that's accelerating tension as we speaketh....

Much larger is truly debatable. Much more vocal, I agree.

I just say that if Republicans get disappointed expect to see more crazies on your side.

Here's how I see it. The way libs are behaving today is the way republicans of the Obama era behaved, but on steroids. The way republicans are behaving today is just like the dems of the Obama era, but on steroids.

If the democrats get major wins in the midterm, then the roles will reverse again, but on steroids.

Now to the point of my first statement: it was about the whining and nothing else.

Ahhh, so you're saying the dynamic is exactly the same... but different. Got it. Look, I have no problem with you expressing this opinion as you are a solid poster who rarely goes in for dramatics and hyperbole but IMO you couldn't be more wrong in contending that these are separate but equal issues. It's your contention to support, so support it with quantifiable proof. Provide us with more than a handful of links of events that occurred over an 8 year period that you consider comparable and I'll provide the same number of links spanning a month or two. I am sticking with my original statement. BS.

I bet if Tom woke up one day in a world where there was zero discrimination against alphabet people, he'd kill himself.

Nah, he'd just create a new false narrative to fit his cry for help

I know. You guys were plain angels. Nary a bad word said.

Words, even inappropriate ones that people disagree on are far different than actual actions against individuals.........and we all know that.

BS.

The only thing that really bothers me is that he's gone from saying 'there's been a build up and this is what happened before, but on steroids... and what happened before was what happened before that, but on steroids' in the first place, I probably wouldn't have had an issue with it....

but instead he started off by claiming that shooting up a congressional softball game and calling for the denial of services and boycotts etc etc etc is 'the same spit'... and then defended it when challenged.

IOW, Nomad... you're guilty of what you're complaining about... equating (and thus endorsing) what is happening now as simply being 'quid pro quo'. By definition, it's not. It's an escalation and you admit it later.

I think when you reach a point of inciting shootings and of protesting people eating dinner (not protesting Trump, but his spokesperson and everyone who works for him)... that MOST people would agree that we've gone too far.

If you and i get into a car accident (no injuries) and disagree over whose fault it is... and I say something ugly to you and you yell back at me and I get in your face and you push me away and I pull out a gun, I think most people would agree that I went overboard.... took it to a completely unacceptable level. Heck, if I followed you around and with my friends, heckled you wherever you went, I think most people would also agree I went overboard. I KNOW they'd disagree if rather than heckling you, I had people 'refuse service' to your parents and brothers and co-workers.

Maybe you'd disagree with that and call it 'the same thing', but I think you'd be in the vast minority.

To what rights is he referring? He enjoys and will continue to enjoy the same exact rights we are all afforded by our bill of rights. It's right there in the constitution for all to see, effing baffoon.

Really? The Republicans want to

1) Allow for people to be fired from their jobs simply because they are LGBTQ
2) Allow for the denial of public accommodations simply because they are LGBTQ
3) Allow for the denial of HEALTH CARE equality simply because they are LGBTQ
4) Allow for the denial of employment in TAXPAYER funded jobs (and services too) simply because they are LGBTQ
5) Allow for outright discrimination against LGBT kids and the children of LGBT kids in education by TAXPAYER FUNDED schools.

From HB1523, to the Pidgeon v Turner ruling by the Texas Supreme Court, to HB6, to a mountain of legislation targeting LGBT people

They're not just coming for Obergefell, which they will render useless by allowing for the dilution of marriage for LGBT persons by bigots.....but they're coming for Lawrence v Texas.

----

Trump will let an outright advocate of jailing LGBT persons for the crime of existing, Tony Perkins, to pick the next Supreme Court pick.

----

And of course, some of you guys will argue then....well then why can't LGBT people just move. And then argue that states that make it impossible for LGBT people to exist should have extra representation in the Senate and in Presidential elections.

Ya know, I just had to stop right here: "Really? The Republicans want to...". 03-yawn

Your own paranoia is getting in the way of anything resembling reason.

It's a f'ing shame to see how far left the democrats have went since the mid 90s . Nope the fringes won out and now the democrats are starting to see their base move away. I'm telling you, on Nov 7th 2016, a republican was not elected....

at least not in the sense of the party of Bush.

That I can agree with. It wouldn't have surprised me if the democrats could've pulled out a whole bunch from Trump if they didn't value the White House so much.

What he's stood for historically:
1. Universal healthcare
2. Improved infrastructure
3. Fair trade deals

I would take all those in a second in a vacuum. A complement here and there would've gotten them what they wanted.

No it wouldn't have. Complimenting Trump gets you no where in the long run. And why should anyone compliment Trump, unless he deserves it.

Tommy is one of those that only see's....ME. A one agenda person that thinks his agenda is the most important thing to the world. Tom is not a person. Tom is not a male. Tom is not a female. Tom is not white. Tom is not black.....

Tom is gay and nothing else matters

Nailed it.
