This is what happens when we are told to take the pressure off. We can't afford to get complacent, yet we did again, because we were told it was what Coach Clark wanted. He wanted us to put the pieces back together now that football was back. We did, and it only gave those against us room to formulate and execute a new plan. We shouldn't have taken our foot off the gas.

I have it on good authority that the push is to eliminate anyone connected to Bartow from the athletics department. Anyone who worked for him or was hired by him is being removed.

That’s why the new position was created. They couldn’t fire her for her coaching ability. But they could remove her from an administrative post for “financial” reasons. This was set in motion when she was convinced to accept this post. She was lied to and manipulated into her own demise.

It should also be noted when Marla took this position, she still had two years left on her coaching contract into 2019. She forfeited that for the so-called promotion.

Is Alec Bartow still working for Blazer Boosters?

was as of a couple of weeks ago. Wonder if he survived the purge?

Did the "made up job" have "made up responsibilities" as well? If not, Marla might not have stayed around much longer anyways. This maneuver is just one more example of how a determined opponent who is given time can find a way to attack an objective. One can guard the gates from outside threats, but how do you protect from a threat from within? Even the very perceptive Julius Caesar could not do that. It can become exhausting to see a threat in everyone and in every action.

I think we may have been over this, but what can we do? Do we just vent on here? Is it all about having the '7' throw their weight around, or what?

The only people our opponents respect are those who speak in 8 figure monetary terms. For the rest of us, we are like the guy who brings a butter knife to a sword fight. We are "full of sound and fury, but signifying nothing" of consequence to them. "Fiscal responsibility" was their rallying cry the first time (12/2/14) and now we are hearing it again as new people are sacrificed for their good.

Mark needs some heat. That said we double down on donations and tickets and work from a position of strength. If you are mad donate and buy more tickets.
